I installed on my truck and it is welded well. You do have to get your own over flow fitting. Other than that, it is a great tank for a 73 mounting bolts worked and I’m gonna give it five stars cause it was built well.

I’ve broken my plastic one twice. I’m tried of replacing it. This was an alternative to the plastic and works perfect. I love it.

It looks good and sturdy better than theplastic. The one thing I don't like is the didn't include the parts for return hose I had go find a hose barb with the right thread. Such pain in but pay good money for this product everything should be included

Would give this 5 stars but the overflow tube has to be crushed to get the top bolt to line up and you need a fitting for the hose to attach to but other than that im happy with it

Had high hopes for this coolant reservoir, as other low cost aluminum reservoirs for the 7.3 look like they were welded by Stevie Wonder. This res at least has some decent looking uniform welds.First, the cap that is included with this reservoir is poor quality, pressure tested it with the correct cap adapter and a snap on pressure tester and it doesn't open @ the specified 16psi. Get an OEM ford cap to go with it.Inside of the tank is dirty and oily and has loose pieces of welding slag. You'll want to flush it out with a solvent, but remove the sight glass and seal, as they likely won't survive the solvent, and you'll need to retorque the sight glass bolts anyways as they are barley tightened.Last but certainly not least, there was no included hose barb fitting for the small overflow hose to the top of the radiator, you'll have to source your own.
