It did not my 2002 Harley sportster XLH883C. It screwed on about 1/4 of a inch then stopped. Had to fight with it to get it off. The threads are squared when the should be edged like the original gas cap. Plus the cap isn’t vented to relieve pressure inside of the tank. Over all the piece isnt bad looking just not usable without the vent or proper threading.

Looks good on a 03 883 but it’s not vented. Opened my tank after a ride and so much pressure built up. Went back to stock cap.

thought this would fit the gas tank on the fat boy but it did end up fitting the sportster of my sons bike, well made, just needs to have a belcher on it, we did have some issues with it on my son's tank as far as not letting the pressure out when we were riding yesterday. but we are going to add the medalion to the gas cap that he had before this one, because it fits so perfectly to his his bike.

The emblem in the middle goes on with a bit of 2 sided tape. It’s not a single solid piece. It’s fine though, holds secure and looks good. The cap fits my ‘21 softail standard. It sits lower than stock which is nice. Make sure you screw it in before you stick the emblem on. It does not click and spin like the stock cap so the emblem will only sit one way when it’s screwed in.
