I used this on a small diesel tank. The tank pressure tested to 15PSI with no issues. The machining is good, and the part welds easily.The cap uses an o-ring to seal, so when it eventually wears out it should be easy to replace. One thing to note, the cap is not vented. You'll need to find another way to vent your fuel tank.Degrease the aluminum thoroughly before you weld. The part comes in feeling clean, but does have a very light coating of oil left over from the machining process.

Filler for a fuel tank, temporary type, as to lite to weld. Suited well for this job, difficult to get to spot and couldn't weld. Fiberglassed in place
