Installing this radiator protector definitely took a bit to do, just check out the pictures. This took a solid 2-3 hours to install. Had to eventually put my can-am up on ramps just to get the bottom holes to line up properly so that I could reinstall the screws.Follow the included (pictures) instructions, they are accurate until the last step. When placing the protector in place using the temp screws on the bottom, it allows you to then drill through the plastic engine fender for the side screws. Pictured in my 4th picture, the drilled holes don't quite line up to the 2 plastic tabs on the inside of the engine fender, which appear to be there to hold onto a nut for this exact purpose, placement of the radiator protector. I ended up having to cut off the lower tab so that I could tighten the included hardware. My can-am sits a little lower than standard (bought used), so this radiator protector will help prevent further scraping while on the road. I primarily travel on highway and I come across quite a bit of debris and rocks.I do recommend this product as a first step for protecting the front end of your can-am.

Seems to be doing what it's supposed to. It guards from scratches and punctures. The quality is what you would expect. Feels like maybe aluminum or cast aluminum.
