Where it goes under the dash on my 81z the holes aren’t wide enough so wallered them out. After that it fit ok

I hadn’t really thought about this part but was glancing at a friend’s hot rod and noticed he has a chrome steering column support. Then I looked at mine, all grungy with old paint—this makes such an impact for very few $s. If it fits your car or pickup I highly recommend getting one
