I purchased this control unit more as a spare to have on hand than for actual need. My beloved John Deere X360 is 11 years old and just hit 500 hours on the motor. And has been absolutely trouble-free the entire time. (See that? I just opened pandora's box there.) I've heard of these ECMs failing once in a while, and the OEM part is close to $120. If this is never used, that is okay with me, but at least I have $42 tied up in inventory instead of $120.This unit is an identical match to the one currently in my JD. So I don't see why this would not work. And hopefully I never do have to see if it works. But if that day should come, I'm ready to get my JD back up and running immediately!
