When the fire checking the fire and cleaning the Woodburner ashes, the paint on the shovel peeled. It still works just is not ment for the value of the money I paid for.

The first time using the shovel it caught fire. The angle of the handle is perfect for the deep firebox. The square nose is perfect for getting all the ashes in the back and sides. Maybe the handle should be painted but not the shovel. Or get different paint. It's a hazard.

i knew it was going to be a problem used two plier but then you scratch the paint to try to get it tight.if i was not out of gorilla glue and black gorilla tape i could get it to stay JUNK if it comes apart RIGHT?like use some locking threads? or something landfill will get it when i get tired of the pieces coming apart

This little shovel is made to last. My other one gave out on me, so I purchased this new one. It’s built to last and does a Fine job. If you are looking for one this one’s pretty Awesome.
