This shade cloth does not match the cloth I purchased from another brand. If you are using multiple shades together, you will want to get the same brand at the same time. It functions the same just visually is different. I found 70% shade to be more shade than I expected, if you are using it for growing you may want a 40% shade also so you can adjust for early, mid and late summer. In your planning be sure to make the mounting flexible as the grommets do not line up from one brand to the next. The shade also stretches which plays into your planning.

This is NOT 70% shade. Once it was up the sun beat right thru it. Plants are dying because its not the coverage they said it would be. I've had 70% before and this isn't close. It also isn't 20 x 20... its 18 x 18 and inches. The area I needed covered was 18 x 19 and this is 2 feet short!! And to top this off...its already got holes in it! Haven't had it for 2 months yet.... smdh..

I recently purchased the Amagenix 70% Black Shade Cloth, and it's been a great addition to my garden setup. The 10 FT x 20 FT size is perfect for covering a large area, and the 70% shade provides just the right amount of sun protection for my plants. The material feels durable and well-made, which gives me confidence that it will last through multiple seasons. One of the standout features is the reinforced grommets, which make it easy to secure the shade cloth without worrying about it tearing or coming loose. I've used it to cover my greenhouse and also as a protective cover for my outdoor kennel, and it has performed exceptionally well in both applications. The only minor drawback I encountered was that the installation required a bit of effort. The cloth is quite large and can be cumbersome to handle alone, so having an extra pair of hands definitely helps. Once set up, though, it stays in place nicely and provides consistent shade.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the Amagenix 70% Black Shade Cloth. It offers excellent sun protection, is built to last, and has versatile applications around the garden and beyond. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable shade solution for their plants or outdoor areas.

Bought this mainly to cover plants while transporting in my truck bed. Works great for a plant tarp while driving!

We live in a very windy area, and we needed to add some shade for our chickens. We've been through many of these types of shades, but the wind always seems to damage the tie down areas on the shades. Although this is rated at 70%, it provides ample shade during the sunny months. Also, I believe the 70% is the reason this one is still going strong. It lets a little more wind through it, and I think that's why it hasn't torn yet. The chickens have gotten lots of use from it and I'm glad I don't have to replace another shade cloth so soon. If I can get a couple of seasons out of it, I'll be super impressed.
