The lock on my Roman shade stopped working so I decided to repair it myself. I purchased a bunch of cord locks- the plastic ones on Amazon and none of them locks. It was such a hassle of putting it up and realizing it does not work then having to take it down and doing it all over again. After so much return and frustration, I came across this lock, and it was my last resort. If this wasn’t going to work, I was giving up and planning to switch out the shades for curtains. But this worked perfectly!!! Buy this cord lock if you are looking for a cord lock. Don’t go through the hassle like I did! It’s so sturdy, and the quality is amazing since all the part is metal..

Works great. It was challenging stringing the blind cords through this thing and to get them properly aligned so they don't cross. I used a needle nose pliers to put a little hook on the end of a thin paperclip. Then used the paperclip hook to pull the blind cords through the proper slots. This thing should come with an install tool. 5 stars for working great. 1 star for lack of an install tool to pull the cord through this device. Overall a 4 star experience.

This was exactly what I needed to fix our huge blinds. I was scared we would have to replace the whole panel (we're renters) but Amazon saved the day once again. Cheap and easy fix. Great product.

I just got these so I have not used them yet. The price was great. The only thing I think is not so great is they send absoluely no instructions with them, so using them will be a crap shoot. I think something like this should have a small sheet of instructions, just to show you exactly how to thread the cords through.
