Just make sure it's designed for your wand.

Somehow I got lucky I guess, because these ended up being the exact shape and size that I needed. At first I thought I was going to have to purchase a whole new wand when the tip broke off and I was having trouble finding one that matched the others. Then I stumbled across these which is a much cheaper solution, so I gave it a try. I added some strong adhesive glue first before inserting it into the wand and then I let it sit for about 24 hours. And voila, good as new.

This works great. Easy replacement for the original end that broke. Just know, you're probably going to need some sort of glue because this is unlikely to be a perfect fit. I used original Gorilla Glue, which expands (rather that super glue, which doesn't). Epoxy would probably work equally well. Use a glue that is designed to fill a gap and you'll be good to go.

Fits loose. Needed super glue. Works fine now.

The plastic hook broke off evenly at the top of the wand. Could not get the remaining plastic nub to come out of the wand. Drilled a small hole into the center of the nub and inserted a small screw. You can then use pliers to pull on the screw head or for more stubborn removal you can place the head of the inserted screw into a vice and tighten, then pull on the wand to remove nub. Insert new nub into the existing tiny four wood groves in the wand. Note: do not insert too large of a screw into the nub or you could expand and crack the wand that will then require wood glue.

The tilt wand tip did not fit snugly in the Home Depot brand 1" plastic, wood grained, white vinyl wand tip. As others have stated all that's needed is to drop a dab of epoxy glue on the wand tip and allow it to dry overnight to take up the additional slack. It's been operating the blinds perfectly for over three months now.

These required using glue to secure them to my Levelor faux wood horizontal blinds, as the holes were too large for the piece. It took a large amount of hot glue to secure them and ensure they didn’t fall off when reinstalling on the hook and turning the wand. I wish the plastic part that goes in the wand was longer and wider like the original piece was, but compared to not being able to adjust them, it’s better than it was, despite having to glue the pieces to make them fit.
