The javelin must be held at its grip and thrown overhand, over the athlete's shoulder or upper arm. This Javelin by Amber is an IAAF Certified Javelin and meets all professional standards and specifications. The tips are chromed metal, and feature a unique cord-wrap grip. Not much really to say other than you can pick the color you want, you probably won’t get it. I picked blue and got red so I didn’t really care. I would’ve been upset to get pink however. Beyond that it’s a perfectly fine javelin.

This javelin is made of superior metal and the cord is nice and thick for the Finnish grip. I am throwing it at the National meet on July 30-31st. I hope it flies as well as it does in practice. I have already set a new personal best with it.

I ordered a green one but got a white one instead, not a big deal to me. Wasn't worth paying shipping to send it back. It flies decent and I'm happy with it so far.

Have a Daughter who is in Freshman Track. This has been very helpful in getting her some extra time to train. Very nice for the price and my daughter says its as good as the ones they use for practice in High School

This javelin is perfect for my beginner thrower. Throws well. Its also beautiful... clean and simple with no dreaded pink or green "eck" colors as my daughter would say. Of course as she's been throwing in rocky ground, we are seeing more paint removed... but I guess that is to be expected. Since it is white.. I imagine we could always touch up the battle scars if we ever wanted to. It arrived VERY quickly... 3 days faster than anticipated.
