"I upgraded from a 5900X to a 5800X3D, and then finally to the 9950X3D. By far, this is the best upgrade I've ever made. This CPU is an absolute monster. It handles all my programming tasks and games with incredible speed, faster than I can even comprehend! Just make sure you have good cooling, because it does run hot!

This is an amazing CPU. Best one I ever owned. Super fast, runs cooler than my previous ones (7950x3D and 7950x).

So glad I was able to grab this processor for MSRP. Going from the 9800x3d to this was great for multiple tasks. For games, this thing doesn't bottleneck your GPU at all, and there is tons of room to run. Switching CPU was made easy with AMD optimization. I have an Asus gaming-f x870e motherboard and just downloaded the drivers before switching. Didn't run into any major issues with anything else. I recommend this processor to anyone who wants more than gaming. This processor does run a tad warm but nothing crazy. After undervolt, it helped with a few degrees.Pros:Multi TaskGaming speedsSpeedsCons:CostAvailablity

The perfect CPU for a monster PC.Pros:- Gaming performance is nearly identical to the gaming-specific 9800x3D.- Productivity workloads about 75% faster than the 9800x3D on average.- PBO works extremely well. +200 is absolutely no problem for this chip.- Even in certain gaming scenarios unrelated to actual gameplay, there is a noticeable uplift. (e.g. shader builds)Cons:- This CPU is not cheap. If you don't have too many productivity workloads and strictly use for casual workloads, web browsing and heavy gaming, go with the 9800x3D for $250 less.- This CPU runs hot. Compared to the 9800x3D which ran comparatively cool, this CPU idles around 49-53C, and under full load, can reach as hot as 78C on a 360mm AIO (Liquid Freezer III). Gaming temps are very reasonable around 60-65C.- This CPU consumes more power than the 9800x3D. Under full load, I've seen power consumption in excess of 240W for spikes, and draws 40-45W even when idle, compared to the 9800x3D which drew 145W with PBO OC under load and 20-25W idling.Even though it consumes a ton of power, it still consumes far less than the 14-series high-end Intel chips with superior gaming performance to boot. Intel does still hold a slight edge when it comes to productivity workloads at a slightly lower price. For those who are building a monster PC that will be used for gaming and productivity, there is no other AMD choice (other than the 9800x3D).

Great CPU for gaming and multitasking! Paired with a 5080 and 64GB of RAM with max settings I get 100-300 FPS in WoW based on location. In Overwatch it's over 400 FPS while in a match and Diablo 4 is over 180 FPS in combat.

One star due to the seller raising the product above MSRP after release. I was able to buy for the MSRP of 699 but mear hrs after release they raised the price to $832Review:This processor is one hell of a work horse and the performance was the best. Shipping was fast . Highly recommend this to anyone looking for great performance across the board but don't pay more than MSRP. Wait for the stock to come back

Another amazing CPU from AMD. If you are like me and use your computer for a workstation and gaming, this is the ultimate CPU. Temps stay cool through intense gaming, and it compiles code incredibly fast.I would recommend at MSRP. Any higher, not really worth it.

Come on, als ob AMD High-End-Hardware verschenken würde! Wer Leistung will, bekommt sie hier auf jeden Fall!

Looks like they fixed core parking for the gaming app. Can give a CPU bound game a 20-35FPS average uplift over the 9950x. However if your a gamer that wanted this to keep frames while also having something on the other display (browsers/discord/xyz apps) its core parking sometimes dumps those onto the CCD0 as well which eats into games performance.Additionally, when workloads do hit the other CCD while it's trying to game it still holds better than the 9950x. Which is wild until you alt tab out of the game... and it instantly stops forcing the game process to ccd0 which can cause massive frame pacing latency. Then when you click back into the window it takes 1-2 seconds to "move" everything back to CCD0.Recommendations If you were upgrading from older generations this one works great for blender/ compression/ and the terrible Adobe suite and still doesn't eat your frame pacing like the 9950x. Highly recommend at MSRP.If your not using both use cases get a 9800x3d for gaming or the 9950x for workstation use.If you game with multiple displays and have other apps and don't want a massive frame hit like the 9800x3d gets when multiple apps are opened. Get this, but understand it's not a silver bullet and sometimes you may have to use a process lasso/other third party app to put the things where you want them.Side note: I never expected first party Amazon to have this in stock. Shocker.
