Lonicera semp `Major Wheeler` Attention!!! There's an officer in the room! You will find yourself saluting this officer often once you see that this Major has earned his rank in the field with a stunning landscape presence that make all the other Honeysuckle look like mere recruits. Start with its foliage...'Major Wheeler' seems to be immune to the foliage mildew that can adversely affect many other Honeysuckles. Even in the most humid conditions its foliage stays dark green, lustrous and mildew free. His foliage is great but it's the bloom that 'Major Wheeler' brings to your yard that makes him such a landscape hero. Masses of long, tubular, bright red flowers cover the Major from late May through the summer in such numbers you'll wonder where he gets his energy! You won't be the only one that will salute this officer. Hummingbirds and butterflies anywhere in your neighborhood will find this Major to be a great source of flower fragrance and nectar and will faithfully visit him frequently. Yes, 'Major Wheeler' is a native landscape leader that we all will salute for meritorius service no matter if he is planted in full sun or shade!

This plant was beautiful, healthy and well established. It bloomed that first summer I planted it and grew vigorously.

Although this plant was a little dry with a few brown leaves when it arrived, it is still healthy with new leaf buds forming. Nice size plant and well worth the money. Hoping for blooms this summer.

I've never bought a plant online before and was a bit leery. But, after reading all the positive reviews, I decided to do it. I am not disappointed! The plant arrived in perfect condition! Even had some blooms. I've had it for two weeks now, and it has already grown about a foot and has new buds that should be opening soon.

This was a huge shocker to me, I've never before purchased live plants of any kind (online). I was a bit doubtful at first and was expecting a small, brown dry, or damaged plant?I was so glad that I was proven wrong!!!!I received the plant well packaged, and in very great conditions. I had no trouble with replanting or keeping it alive. No flowers on it yet... but a week after planting in my garden I'm starting to see a few tiny buds which means it shouldn't be long to start seeing it covered in beautiful honeysuckle flowers with that sweet iconic scent. I highly recommend, since honeysuckles are very difficult to find in stores: (Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, or at the farmers market) if you wanna just save yourself from the trouble of looking around! "Well what you waiting for? You've already found the one! She's right HERE!!!"

I was definitely disappointed in the two honeysuckle plants I received. Not much of a plant for the money. I have no idea why they had such small plants in large pots. When I went to plant them in the ground, the small root ball fell away from the rest of the dirt. It was like they just planted the little plant in a big pot and shipped it off. The small plants were not healthy or lush. Very disappointing. I would definitely NOT order from this company again.

so the first plant I received was practically destroyed by the shipper - it was upside down in the box and most of the dirt was out of the pot. I decided to take a chance and Amazon replaced it with another. This one came in great condition and large and healthy. Ready to bloom and hopefully it will be climbing my arbor soon.

I bought two of these for a trellis in my vegetable garden where I used to grows peas and cucumbers. I decided to something a little easier and perennial, that would look pretty, so I bought these. They arrived on time looking very nice and healthy. I let them sit out for a couple of days, then planted them today. So far so good. We are due for some rain, which should help them set root. The packaging was good and they were staked with little trellises, which is nice. This will help them stay upright until they grow enough to latch onto my trellis. It hasn't bloomed yet so I can't speak for the smell, but I know they are supposed to be very fragrant! Very pleased with my purchase overall. I would say each plant is about 18" tall which is about as they should be for this size. Nice and full too.
