I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this item as i surely didn't want it mixed up with stainless steel wire which is a very different animal but they got it perfectly right and no issues at all.

This is the best of best. We use this for bunker spook trolling stripers off of NJ. Monel is the best option. It's soft, pliable, and decent to work with (compared to other wires in general). Only downside? The cost. It's about the same price everywhere but $45-$48 is a pretty penny 100 yds of wire. If they can find a way to make this cheaper? Then it is 5 stars.

Use this product to target deep water suspending walleye on Lake Erie. My experience with this product tells me that a Bomber 24A deep diving stick bait that will normally run 24 feet down while trolling. By utilizing 100 feet of this this monel wire I can get this Bomber lure to run 40 feet deep. In order to get it to run deeper - run in line weights.

great line but expensive. would of like it marked at every 50 ft. but only malin does this and it sells at amazon.com and it won't ship this to Canada.
