I did have to calibrate it tho. That is easy but make sure you DO NOT unscrew the little screw. There are a couple of good YouTube videos on that. I had to give the screwdriver a bit of a tap to unstick it for calibration.

The only con is the material around the wire cannot take as much heat as the original. So make sure you push it as far away from the burner it will go
