Originally I had a 12 and couldn’t find a good box to fit it so found these for pretty cheap. I installed them with the amp set for the 12 and sounded okay but with a little bit of tuning these things hit harder then the 12! Vibrates my mirrors and can feel it in chest! Highly reccomend. Was tight to get it in I had to unbolt the seat to get it to slide in but once it’s in it’s solid.

Speaker box is carpeted and very sturdy, speakers come installed in box and already wired. Had to remove the rear seat backrest to install but fit perfectly. Paired with 800 watt skar amp and it sounds amazing!

Quality of the box is very good. Seems sturdy when handling it. Fit and finish were excellent. Still waiting for the subs to break in, but sound is impressive... not a truck shaker but definitely loud enough and gives good presence.Well worth the money!!

My box and speakers looks good. Box is really well made. When I went to hook everything up one of the speakers was blown. I was sooo bummed. I’m going to email them and see if they will replace my speaker. I will update you when I get an answer.

Absolutely in love with the box and subs! Amazing buy! Both subs and box came in without any damage! Pretty strong base also! Must buy if you want the most bump for your Tacoma! Fits like a glove! You don't need to take the plastics off the back of your seats! I just did long time ago for other subs. Great buy!

Box fits very tight. Removal of child safety loops or bending them down is necessary to make the box sit right. My only complaint is one of the subs came already blown. But even with just the one right now it hits just as hard as my 12 inch pyle bluewave. Running a 600 mtx thunder monoblock and its a very crisp responsive sub. Ended up buying a new sub from Walmart. They normally keep these in stock for under a hundred bucks.UpdateGot rid of the truck but kept the box and subs. They're still kicking and outlasted the sub. Being meant for a tacoma the box is actually perfect for fullsize single cab trucks also. Fit great in my 98 ram and an 88 Cheyenne.

Installed in an '06 Tacoma and it fits great, the only issue I had was with my amp being a little on the large side for the space in between but that is in no way this products fault. For those of you looking at purchasing this box don't hesitate it seems to be really solid and the subs it comes with are pretty decent. This is a great budget friendly item. If you are looking to get better subs but still want to use the cabinet there is a separate listing for just the cabinet. Be aware that there is only 14" of width between the 2 subs in which to mount the amp so keep that in mind when deciding which amp to purchase. I went with a Pioneer GM-D9601 which is 12.375" wide and had to preset the crossover and gain and use 90degree RCAs and slide it as far to the 1 side as I could in order to hook up the power side, luckily I don't plan on ever having to access the gain or crossover controls on my amp cause it won't be easy. If you get an amp with a smaller footprint though or mount it somewhere else that won't even be an issue though so don't let that deter you from buying this cabinet. Also be aware that if you have the factory JBL system you will either need to find a way to leave the factory amp installed or take time to figure out the stock wiring and splice the speaker wires or run completely new wires from your head unit to your door speakers as they are powered through the factory amp too it's not just for the "sub" I found this out the hard way. I did not have to do any modification to any of the Latch system or mounting tabs on my cab so if you are having any sort of issues with this just try a different angle or remove the 4 bolts holding the seat backs temporarily to get them out of your way and then reinstall them once you are done, I would recommend doing this anyways as it gives you a lot more room for moving around while wiring everything up.

First off, for the money, it can't be beat. Secondly, with some minor altercations to the back of the cab, the box fits extremely snug, which is a good thing. I had to bend the tabs down that the factory cubby holes are screwed into. After that the box pretty much sat right down into where it's supposed to go. I also bought the boss amp that it recommended, I went a little bigger and got the 1200 watt, 2 channel. I started out with the speakers bridged and it threw the amp into protect mode. Pretty sure the speakers can't handle the bridge because after I unbridged them everything worked fine. They sound great in the truck with only minor noise outside of the cab. I can bottom the speakers out on some songs if I have the bass knob turned all the way up, could just be my lack of knowledge on setting an amp though. Overall these speakers sound really good, nice clean bass, no rattles, they seem to do best in mid-range bass, but for a 10 they are impressive at the low end bass as well. It's paired with a pineoneer double din with Bluetooth and, like earlier stated, a boss 1200 watt 2 channel amp and sounds really good!
