The pattern of this coat is beautiful, my daughter loves the pattern, and I can't see any place where the dye is bleeding. All of the zippers (one on each pocket and one in the front of the garment). It is exactly as represented in images, the reason I'm removing a star is the coat is in fact so light weight, it is little more than a more tailored poncho. While there is a lining that feels slightly softer than the outer shell, the wind cuts right through this coat. We live in a climate where it is rarely warm and wet at the same time. While this may be a great garment in the Southeast of my country (where it is warmer and wetter simultaneously), I live in a high-altitude desert, and I do not think we will get much use out of this jacket. My daughter would need to wear a light sweater underneath the jacket in order to be both dry and warm.On the plus side, the coat does seem well made, the seams are even and well finished, it even folds up nicely and comes in a simple carrying case, so this is a great piece to keep in a hiking backpack or even in the car in case of an emergency shower. While this coat is very competitively priced (at just $20), I can't call it a "good deal" as many of the other jackets in the category actually have a lining that will keep a kid a bit warmer. Those are priced anywhere from $24-$34 on Amazon right now. If you live in a climate where you just need water (but not wind) resistance, this jacket will suit your needs well, but for those who have rain regularly accompanied with winds, this jacket will be too thin for your needs.

The American Trends Girls Rain Jacket is a cute and lightweight option for rainy days. It’s waterproof, easy to pack, and perfect for keeping kids dry without feeling too heavy. The material is soft and comfortable, and the fun designs make it even better. However, it does run small, so it’s best to size up for a better fit. Overall, it’s a great raincoat for kids, but be sure to check the sizing before ordering!
