Looks great, feels great, works great, but leaves a black ring around your finger near immediately. Great bang for the buck tho.

As I've discovered, archery rings are an oval or elliptical shape. You have to put them on by rotating them 90°, slip them over the thumb joint, then rotate back 90°. If sized properly the ring will not slide past your thumb joint. I ordered another size then had to send it back because it was too large even though I thought I measured my thumb correctly. So I would suggest ordering what you think is your size and another the next size under and simply return the one that doesn't fit quite right. Shooting with this ring was very nice and smooth.

Off-the-shelf archery thumb rings should actually be of an oval shape, and the proper way to put them on is to rotate them 90° slip them over the thumb joint, then rotate back 90° so that it's in position for shooting. When the ring is in shooting position, it should not be easy to slide it off, over the thumb joint.I ordered two of these, a 22mm and a 21mm because the 22mm was a little too big:The dimensions of the 22mm ring are 23mm at its longest and 22mm at its shortest.The dimensions of the 21mm ring are 23mm at its longest and 21mm at its shortest.My thumb measured just below the thumb joint is 21mm, and at the thumb joint 23mm, so this size worked out very well for me. I suggest cautious extrapolation in terms of using these numbers to determine dimensions of other sizes.

Overall, this is a good entry level thumb ring for practicing with a thumb draw. Just know how to correctly measure your thumb before purchasing.

It’s pretty. I measured my thumb with calipers and ordered the size that should fit and it does indeed fit correctly. I am looking forward to shooting with it.

Really, you need to measure your thumb joint at the widest point, some people like me have larger knuckles and you need to account for this, noting it may feel loose past the joint. A good fit is essential to the thumb draw technique.
