Very strong and good construction. I use it for a 5 gallon Distiller giving it a nice look. On delivery one corner appeared slightly bent but could be easily straightened.

This is a nice microwave shelf. I purchased the 24x24 and probably should have bought one a bit smaller. Good quality product. Easy assembly.

This shelf is truly restaurant grade, thick stainless steel and sturdy which is important considering microwave ovens can be quite heavy. There are no holes to run a power cord, so you will need to plan where to place the shelf that works with an existing high receptacle, or plan to install a new receptacle accordingly. We purchased the larger size, however still needed to make sure the microwave would fit properly.

I bought this not to store my microwave on but, to store my cleaning supplies. I wanted something sturdy that would not be destroyed by any cleaner that might drip or leak out on the surface. I have had bleach and other bottles of cleaners leak onto particle board shelves and destroy them and I was trying to avoid this. I installed this in a linen closet where the cleaners are in easy reach and the surface wipes clean easily. Very happy. I am sure it would work very well for the microwave as well.
