My kid wanted a UGA necklace so bad. He's only 7 so I didn't want to break the bank. This necklace was perfect for him. I was a little bummed because from the photos it looks gold and I didn't remember seeing anything about it being silver. Buuuutttt, it is silver. My son still loves it and that's what mattered.

Updated Review:Unfortunately my bright silver chain tarnished to a dull black. The Nittany Lion pendant is still in original new condition. My silver polish didn't make any noticeable improvement in the chains.I am really disappointed that this purchase ended badly. Taking into account I just bought the same necklaces for my three young granddaughters, I now have to deal with deciding the best way to right this purchase.If you're buying, choose a different necklace chain!Original Review:This is a nice Penn State necklace at a good price.
