I ordered this for my new hamster. It was a tiny bit difficult to snap together, but all in all, that probably just will keep it together better. it is very aesthetic and seems well made. It is the perfect size for my big Syrian hamster. I love the little steps. I also like that the top can be used as a platform for holding other items as well.

I am new to the hamster world but have been buying a lot of different hamster hideouts for our new pet. She seems to live digging and hiding in them and I like to spruce up her cage every other week with a fun new toy.This took a bit to arrive, so if you are in a hurry it's not going to work. However we had one and this was just a fun replacement. It comes in pieces and it takes a minute to figure out how to build. The instructions are just pictures but don't really spell out how to get the pieces in order. It suggests using a rubber mallet or hammer to really lock the pieces in, but I was able to do it by hand just fine. I would suggest putting the stairs in and then completing the other side, once you get both walls up the steps can be tricky.The hamster loves it and has no issues climbing up the steps to get on top. The only thing I am uneasy about is that even though the instructions state it can be wiped clean, if it gets full of hamster pee I am not sure I would bother washing it.Fun little addition to the cage, we will see how it holds up!
