I am not sure how the red LED illuminate when a fuse blows but the quality is decent and will replace my current male/female spade fuse blocks in my race car.

These are sturdy with thick plastic and a convenient design. Would be good for a car, boat, or ..... although I have doubts about how well the metal parts would withstand moisture and corrosion in a harsh environment.Would like to see a smaller more compact version which amongst other things would use the smaller mini-blade fuses instead.

I've never had the need to buy one of these, so I can't compare it to the name brand, but it's got everything I need. I actually bought a second unit for my 24v battery distribution in my boat. I tested them too - each one, and no failures, across two units too. You should be mindful of the load on these, personally, I would not run more than 60amps in total for all your connected devices. Anything more than that, I'd say get a heftier unit. But if this is for LED lights, phone chargers, and other small electronics, this is a great little fuse box. I'd definitely buy it again - oh wait, I did. 😀 I totally recommend it!

Had to add USB and other accessories to the dash pad of the motorhome. This worked perfectly to protect the new additions.
