Found the brass one you need to be carful when tightening, you would think going into a battery you want to snug them up fairly tight but do not steam will snap off in battery post , then another issue you will have better off finding a lead or steel one

If you are looking for. solution to sid post battery don't waste your money because side post batteries us 3/8 inch bolts and these metric ones are a farce and complete waste of money. They stole a great idea and ruined it for people.

I really like the idea of these adapters and they might work if you have a light touch. If you like things tight be careful as the threads can break. One issue is that the threads are pretty short so they don't have a lot of bite in the batteries, also they are brass and m6 isn't huge.After I broke one trying to tighten it, I drilled out the remaining threads in the adapter and inserted a long m6 bolt all the way through the adapter. This is a much stronger attachment design and it seems fine electrictonically.

These things are a VERY SOFT alloy and they don't provide torque specs. But yeah, I accidentally broke one of the studs due to following XS Power's torque specs of 8 ft-lbs, which is WAY TOO INTENSE for these. Fortunately, I was able to spin out the broken piece. I then improvised by drilling the post all the way thru and running a long enough M6 bolt from the top down. Otherwise, if you want a one-piece deal like me, then these are the way to go.

I was screwing in one of the posts to the battery and it snapped off before it was even close to being tight. I cannot request an amazon return due to the expiration of return of 8/31 (3 days ago). The threads were snapped off inside the battery and were so loose, I unthreaded it by hand. Now I have no way to finish my battery install until I order and wait for new ones to arrive and have to pay again. Kinda sucks

I chose these over the knurled style secured with a separate M6 screw because I feel the smooth surface of these offers more surface area for good electrical contact + heavy current. Beware that rotation of the clamp/cables attached to these posts can loosen them... May want to install with Loctite (carefully, only on the threads, so as not to foul the electrical contact surfaces.)
