Thought it would easier to use the seam ripper part. Wouldn't recommend. IMO

I do machine embroidery and am always looking form the sharpest tool form tight trimming of underlayment and stitches. This product does the job very well. Will probably order a second pair.

I've owned two. They both dulled fairly quickly, just cutting polyester thread.

I love love love this little pair of clippers. So convenient to use and I’ve bought 2 pair because I accidentally hit a pin with my first pair and dulled them a little. I do alterations and use them to take out seams. Just great!!!

I dislike that it pops apart if slightly twisted while using otherwise i love it. I have gone through 8-10 (broke them) of the traditional seam rippers but have had these for a while with no issues. Getting ready to order more.
