This is true copper wire not aluminum wire that is copper coated. Carries the current and is flexible to route were needed.

Ancor wiring is well known to me any many other as a stalwart for quality wiring especially in situations where efficacy is a must. In a marine situation you can't have your wire failing and leaving you stranded and Ancor never does. I use Ancor in my RVs and have never, ever, had a wire fail to perform exactly as expected. I have run literally hundreds of yards of this stuff and it always performs right up to par. When you are putting in wiring it is ultra important that it can be a set it and forget it type of thing, and that's why I always go Ancor. Their price for piece of mind is perfect. I even use it in applications like heavy duty truck wiring etc where I need to be absolutely sure the wire does it's job.As a pro-tip, if you are exposing the wire to sunlight, treat it with some 303 Protectant to add a little bit of extra protection to the wire jacket. I have not ever had Ancor wire wear through or start to crack but for the 10 seconds it takes to add some protectant you might as well just to make sure even though it won't likely be problem without it.Hope this helps!

About enough to run the length of a vehicle. Used it to power trailer connector. Worked well.

be very careful with wires as cya is copper coated aluminum wire(ALUMINIUM) which does not carry the same current capacity as this copper wire can . 10 awg Copper Clad aluminum carries roughly HALF the current than this same 10 awg COPPER wire . being tinned and oxygen free wire makes this a plus also giving the corrosion proofing capabilities as this is also marine rated wire another plus to it.
