the holes are way bigger than they looked in the pics. might be ok for larger hamsters, but anything smaller could slip right out.

These are very helpful for grabbing little fuzzy creatures, as I have use one at home and at the animal lab at school. The mice might bite them while inside, but that is just fine if it means my hand isn’t getting bitten. If you have that one mean rodent that doesn’t want to be touched but needs to be moved for cleaning, these will work. They are cute and fit easily in a bin, and can be easily sprayed and wiped, or cleaned at the sink with a sponge. Good value, and appreciate the two pack option. My more timid students were able to have a chance to pick up our school mouse, so that was a plus! They are made of a durable and firm plastic, so I see these lasting a while.

Hamsters are squirrelly little suckers but this contraption gets them every time with no stress or risk of nibbles to your fingers! Works great!

Since everyone in my house was afraid to grab out little Robinowarski hamster with their hand these were perfect. It functioned as it was supposed to, but be careful. A few times one of his little feet did get stuck. No big deal just had to shake it gently to get him out. But keep in mind our Our hamster is TINY.
