These are ridiculously bright. I love them, because it all but eliminates the option for an officer to stop me and tell me that my license plate light may be out, just because they can't see the dim factory license plate light. I have mine installed on my truck, and the light is awesome when connecting a trailer, or working around the back of the truck. I purchased the 2 pack because the pricing was better, and put the 2nd one on my Polaris Ranger as a light under the bed, so that I can see better when backing and when connecting a trailer. If you want bright, this is the light for you.

I did not like the position of the wire for my needs, but the trailer I was upgrading was completely destroyed before I ever even connected the wires, so that is no longer an issue for me.

I tried requesting a replacement because the light didn't work right out of the box...... Zero response and now I'm stuck with a light that doesn't work. JUNK! SVAE YOUR MONEY AND ORDER SOMETHING ELSE!

I used this to replace a license plate light that was destroyed in a car wash. This new light has a very low profile and will not be prone to car-wash damage. It produces a bright white light that lights up the license plate, but does not produce a glare that would affect vehicles behind me. It was very easy to install; use existing license plate bolts and connect the wires. I can't comment on the longevity since I just recently installed it, but since it is LED lights I would assume that it will last significantly longer than the OEM incandescent bulb.
