The base, pole and flag itself are all plastic. Even though this was described as 'deluxe' it looks cheap and tacky. The flag slides down the pole, is virtually transparent. it's horrible. I do not recommend at all.

This is my first flag :) It is a bit hard to keep it from rolling around the pole and at the seam it is already coming undone a tiny bit at the top BUT it is $6 so what do you expect? Still very happy for what I got.
