Months ago, I ordered the same journal from the same company. I wanted to give it 5 stars, but there was a printing error.Now, that error has been corrected, so I can enthusiastically give it 5 stars!My husband and I have been together for 20 years, but I still love this journal for us. It's been a nice stroll down memory lane to write about how we met and what dating was like. We found old pictures to include in our journal. I love this as a first anniversary gift so you can record the anniversaries while the memories are more fresh in your minds. We don't use social media, so we were flipping through old pictures and emails, putting the puzzle together. It was a nice project for us, though. Reminding us of those early years in our relationship.The quality is really nice. It's got a gold embossed linen cover. It's got an elastic strap and an elastic pen loop. I chose the lavender color and the lavender theme continues inside on the title pages. It's got a paper pocket on the back cover and a few pages for notes and pictures at the back. I love the prompts and the style of this journal. I only wish we had started it earlier, but it's been great to work on it together and re-live all of the memories by digging up old photos, talking about them, and remembering. We can't wait to share the journal with our kids.

This is a great idea, and I wish someone would have gifted us a book like this. We've been married for over 10 years now, and it would have been fun to keep track of things as we went, but I guess you're never too old to start, right? I'm going to be giving this as an anniversary present to my wife this year, and my plan is to share the idea that we every other week we focus on a section/era and fill it out. We'll have fun tracking down our first photo, looking through old emails, letters, etc. and try to piece it all back together. I think it will be a fun "treasure" hunt looking back and reflecting.To review the journal, its got a nice hard cover, the pages are nice and sturdy (but not too thick). The prompts and titles are thoughtful and really help to get things going. I'm not usually a very creative person, and I have a hard time getting started on knowing what to write or focus on, but I like that this asks specific questions, because it gives me something to start with. I think this is a great gift, whether someone is just getting married, has been married for over a decade, or even 5 decades! It will be so fun to fill it out, and fun to reflect on it as well too.
