These combs were surprisingly sturdy and comfortable in my hand, especially for the price. I used one of the scalloped combs to create texture in this cake, and it took it from wow to WOW. This was my first time using a comb like these, and my tip is to make sure you've already created a smooth base with a regular scraper before using one of these. Use lighter pressure and gradually take away frosting. Trust the process!The gold dino decor set was also purchased from Amazon in case anyone is curious 😀

It took a little practice on my part to get the hang of keeping the pressure even to avoid getting a 'seam' as I turned the cake, but it was a very simple process and the cake turned out great!

I haven’t used these yet, but they are every bit as sturdy as Wiltons. I can tell they will work really well and they give a nice variety of ways to decorate your frosting.

Loved these combs! My first time using them I tried one out on a multi layered cake. They worked great! The picture is a bit deceiving because I hade put the layers together and then combed it (I regretted that decision) but it really worked well with the Swiss merengue buttercream that I had made for the cake!Loved the size, it was y’all enough to comb that whole bottom layer without having to do it twice vertically.I’m incredibly pleased with my purchase!
