It’s hard to find elk decor that isn’t covered in hunter orange or camo. This knocker is not a deer, but an elk, and I was so glad to find it.It came with the metal button for the knocker to hit, but as described you have to provide your own screws.My plan is to paint him black. He will look wonderful in our gentleman’s hunting lodge interior decor. Very stately, and heavy cast iron. I may never hang a wreath on my front door again.

I received my Knocker Broken with NO HARDWARE? The plastic bag was empty? It’s a cast iron knocker, how can it be broken? Must be defective….3/18/24 such an inconvenience!!!!3/21/24 replacement was broken??

It's an elk as my husband has pointed out to me and not a deer. It doesn't come with the piece that gets knocked on. We also have the moose version which came with all pieces.

Very nice. I used them as part of the hardware for a baby rooms closet door thats in construction and it came out great. I would buy more but i will relax for now. The house is starting to look like a zoo. These are large and its really a head turner. Worth it.

You can see it from the street it's so large and ornate (not in a bad way "big") It really brings charm to our house! No one ever uses our doorbell anymore. We just loves it. I will say it more resembles an elk than a deer though. At least the deer in our area don't look like THIS. :-)

We have a large oversized front door with an outdoor/nature theme. This totally completed the decor' In addition they shipped instantly and received it immediately and it was half the cost of a plain door knocker from the big name stores!!!!
