This is more of a slipper and sock hybrid than other slipper socks I've used. They have flat semi-rigid bottoms with the traditional slipper-sock rubber dots on the bottom side. This makes them more durable and slipper-like than regular slipper-socks.I wear a size 10.5 and got these in size XL. They fit okay but the flat bottoms are a bit bigger than my foot. The extra length seems to stay at the rear which looks a little funny but doesn't affect comfort. They are comfortable for wear around the house but I don't think I would wear them outside beyond a deck or patio. They provide a nice balance between keeping your feet warn, while still being breathable enough to prevent overheating.
