I bought these to hold the lid of my phone preamp closed but at the same time easy to open.My preamp uses socketed op amps and I need access to its interior to swap (roll) them... so these thumbscrews are the ticket.Now, the preamp proper is matte black aluminum so these things sort of stand out, but they look very nice and are large that my fingers can easily grab them and twist them.The touch of red is kinda cool too.

I have had no problems with these. I use them as an alternative to regular screws that hold my power bank together. They fit right in and are easy to take off them I need to switch my 18650 batteries. They look great too!
