I don't know why this makes me so happy. Maybe it takes me back to the days of playing with my dolls and pretending as a little girl. Maybe it's because I love reading and discovering that each of these little books is different---and that they have full and readable titles, not like they were just put together as a "dummy book," no these look just like real books. I found that going through the books and organizing them by genre, putting the kid's titles (Dr. Suess!!) on the low shelf and the scary ones (Stephen King!!) on the high shelves did seem to focus my mind. I think this little item is nearly perfect for me. The ONLY thing that I'd improve is access to the shadow box. As you can see in my pics, when you open the door to access the books and shelves, it opens down and so the box itself cannot stand flat on the table so that you can fill the shelves. I found a small item on my desk that was just the right height and put it under the back of the shelf so that it could stand up while the front was open. It's a small issue and I made it work. Over all, this item really brings me joy. Maybe it's just me...but having even that little box fully organized, really calms me down in the middle of the chaos of real life.

I really like this small book shaker but it has several flaws. One of the bottom shelves is not level and slopes down, one of the metal pieces that folds the thin plastic cover in cam in dislodges and I can't get it to go back in. So the front plastic piece says inward. And it has several scratches in the wood finish. The tiny books are cute however and they are fun to shake and put back on the shelves. Just disappointed in the quality of the case.

The little tiny books included with this kit are actually pretty neat, though, they seem to just be clipped out of a foam sheet or something. Regardless they're legible and recognizable and come from all manner of genres from classical to modern. The shelves, however, are really junk. The glass front cover is I think actually plastic, its held in place by some tiny metal brads that are just pressed into the wood, one of mine had fallen out and was rattling around in the box, the front pane itself has about a third of an inch of rattle space to wobble around. The shelves smell STRONGLY of some sort of extra chemically glue, the wood is unfinished and it smells strongly of that too. The shelves have big wide gaps on the far left and right side that 3-5 books can just disappear into if you're trying to put them all on the shelves. It's a neat idea but the execution is poor.Should probably include a set of plastic tweezers/forceps or something for handling the books.

It was damaged upon arrival. I had to use some wood glue to put it back together. Some of the books are repeated. It is fun to place on the shelves. I was just upset I had to doctor the item as soon as I got it.

This has got to be the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen! I’m a sucker for miniatures and I love reading. This bookcase combines two of my favorites into one piece and I love this so much. There’s 300 tiny books to place on the shelf. The “books” come packaged in a separate baggie. There are a few fake, weird AI generated titles. Less than a dozen out of 300. For the most part, the “book” titles are all highly popular and well-regarded, bestsellers and classics by famous authors. There’s different book series and children’s titles as well. Many of the “books” covers are instantly recognizable. The tiny little “books” are actually pieces of sturdy foam material with the book cover printed on front and rear. These are just the absolute cutest! It would be great if the books were actually readable books, rather than simply being book covers printed on foam squares. But to be fair, I imagine it would be nearly impossible for anyone to read such microscopic print if entire books were printed. The bookshelf is made of wood with a transparent lockable front. It feels durable and solid. It looks like an extravagant , mansion library room’s wooden book shelves that have been shrunk down to an expensive craft model size. The bookshelf can be displayed vertically or horizontally - according to your preference. This is just lovely as a home decor piece. It certainly is a conversation starter. But what I enjoy most is painstaking placing each book on the shelf and then knocking them all down. It’s so much fun!
