When putting this together, add some black Gorilla tape or even electrical tape to the tool list. When I first got this together I immediately took it on a 5 mile round trip loaded with about 25 pounds of packages. It rattles a lot! You definitely do not need a horn when coming up on someone with this trailer. So what I did was I took it home and took it back apart. I then wrapped the ends of each bar where a bolt or pin would insert. If using thin tape you could go a few wraps, with Gorilla tape it only took one layer as anymore was just too tight for reassembly. After poking the holes in the tape and getting this thing back together (don't forget to do this to where the arm folds as I found out that it rattles bad too lol) It is now an extremely sturdy trailer that makes barely any noise outside of a couple pins jiggling on occasion. What started out as what I thought might have been a noisy bad decision now has turned into my trusty trailer. This thing is already racking up the miles and outside of some slight rim wobble which is common for these cheaper style wheels. It has held up great and with some care it looks like it should hold up for some time to come.

The company's shipping process is chaotic at best. When their shipping trailers are full, they just pile up outgoing shipments outside the trailers. They told me they had lost mine. I finally got it.Not difficult to assemble. Care must be taken with the installation of the part that attaches to the bike (angle). The plastic insert in the hitch is too short making it difficult to align for pin insertion. This can be corrected by gluing a washer of the proper diameter to the insert. I do like the quick-release wheels, and my unit is sturdy and in alignment. It tracks well behind my e-bike. Both inner tubes failed to hold air after 6 months. Replaced with heavy duty tubes.Recommended accessories: 1) some sort of pouch or fanny pack attached to the outside of the front panel for bungie cords, straps, and a elastic cargo net https://www.amazon.com/gp/buyagain?ie=UTF8&ref_=nav_cs_buy_again_cc493b9f54b24a28bf8beae17338dad4 2) If you ride on the road after dark, lights https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-Taillights-Accessories-Helmets-Easy-Flashlight/dp/B07H4R3LPX?pd_rd_w=0dVP0&pf_rd_p=c948275e-11e9-4011-ab39-8e71404fe2cc&pf_rd_r=R7R09K3S3KAHGNPKAVD9&pd_rd_r=f699e8b7-bdfe-4693-b0e0-081b868179a1&pd_rd_wg=s18n9&pd_rd_i=B07H4R3LPX&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_d_rp_3_t and 3) a reflective triangle https://www.amazon.com/Deflecto-Vehicle-Reflective-Triangle-70-0110-50/dp/B00HZC9L7E/ref=pd_rhf_ee_s_rp_c_3_6/140-5766142-7081344?pd_rd_w=wpSmV&pf_rd_p=26d392db-8b78-4d00-b33d-2981cba34f91&pf_rd_r=G9WEYRZS6YQP86FY89WB&pd_rd_r=13e687a1-8eef-4a42-9230-67ea69ac4bbe&pd_rd_wg=MHdFB&pd_rd_i=B00HZC9L7E&psc=1 (I attached mine with zip-ties).My unit has allowed me to haul 2 20lb propane tanks to be re-filled with enough room left for 2 or 3 plastic bags of stuff from the dollar store. The plastic deck has been sufficient so far. I am looking for a tote that fits snugly for bad weather. Rated at 110 lbs, but I would trust mine @ 200 with proper tire pressure. Price has dropped $20 since I bought mine. Judging from other reviews, it seems that quality control is not consistent. If you get a good one like I did, it's worth the money. Check the current return policy before ordering.Good for schlepping light loads - groceries, camping gear, etc. Please do add the safety items if you will be riding along a public road at night. Best wishes!

I purchased this trailer in November for a young fellow with special needs who does bottle collecting for recycling as a form of income. Both tires have cracked and gone flat. When I called Aosom US, they directed me to Aosom Canada. When I called I was told quite bluntly that I couldn't buy replacement parts when I pressed about a warranty, I was told that I needed to send an email to their "Amazon Team". The lady was completely unhelpful. It seemed like all she wanted to do was get me off the phone. I won't buy another one of these trailers, it has fallen apart after 100 days.

I was looking at this trailer reading the other reviews (and ratings) and decided to purchase this particular bike trailer.Unlike many others that use a single axle (which can easily bend over time and weight) this uses a standard fork end like on the front wheel of adult bicycles. Most of the other trailers attract you with the weather cover feature.I was looking more for basics, better design and quality.By using this method with the axle within the wheel and forks it is stronger than the single axle type of trailer. It also has support on the other side of the wheel too since it is of the dual fork end type like on a bicycle.Extra 16 inch wheels or rims are not hard to come by either if replacement is needed and one can choose rims with extra spokes as well. The wheels on this trailer come with 20 spokes on each wheel. This trailer is sturdy yet very lightweight. It has the nice feature of toolless removed fairly quick release wheels should a tire become punctured and needed to be fixed on a ride.____________________________________________________________________________________________Edit my thoughts on motorizing this trailer -Skip this part if you don't want to read thisAlso the standard fork width enables one to easier modify (widen) the fork ends themselves on this particular trailer for a possible larger axle size which would present the possibility of using say a small 250 watt electric planetary geared hub assist bicycle motor from an electric bike kit in a 36H (number of spokes)16 inch rim (those are more difficult to find however there are 3 sources of them on Amazon) and maybe 109 mm length spokes to motorize this particular trailer similar to a commercially available Ridekick motorized trailer.Of course one would have to widen to fork gap (can be filed) in order to use a large axle size. Why use a planetary geared hub motor like this well the motor is ideally torqued to a single assist speed of 15 mph.A compromise between speed and torque. Not ideal for slower speeds up hills however as it's a single speed compromise.By using a smaller 16 inch wheel instead of a 26 inch wheel on the front wheel of a bike the torque should be much increased at a more ideal maximum motor speed of 9.23 mph with about 20.3125 foot pounds of torque versus a 15 mph speed with a standard torque of 12.5 foot pounds on a 26 inch wheel. In other words it would put out about 2 foot pounds more torque than even a 500 watt direct drive electric hub based motor putting out 18 foot pounds of torque yet on a 250 watt motor.Direct Drive hub based motors put out less torque per watt than Planetary Geared Hub Motors.By using a smaller 16 inch wheel the particular motor I mentioned under those conditions would put out the equivalent torque of say a 406 watt planetary geared hub motor. Two wheel electric motorization is also possible too.Once one motorizes the trailer with added weight of the batteries and motors the rated cargo capacity decreases. One can use a motorized trailer either to carry heavier cargo easier or use it just for powered assist or even much longer powered travel (you can carry a lot of Lithium Ion batteries on a trailer).I measured the wheel and trailer and it's possible to put on 20 inch wheels on this trailer (Again have to widen the fork gap though). There are also 20 inch wheels with planetary geared hub electric motors already available that won't need the individual to lace or have a bike shop lace his own wheels to 16 inches though a smaller wheel would put out more torque though less speed (more torque equals better hill climbing capability and easier cargo transport.Edit -Oops the forks are actually 96 mm apart rather than 100 mm.I had assumed that it was 100mm.No big problem though as there are several ways to widen them.A 4 mm difference is not that much.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Back to the reviewAnyway back to the review of the trailer itself. It came with instructions and was easily put together in just a few minutes. One has have a tire pump handy as the inner tube is not already pumped up to what is stated on the tire at 45 P.S.I but in the instruction manual states to inflate to between 25 to 30 P.S.I.It is mentioned in the instructions to travel with this trailer at lower speeds of under 10 m.p.h. too and not to go over curbs with this. You might want to use this trailer on multiple bikes too so consider getting the for each bike.Overall the trailer is good quality,it's design is great, low overall cost and I was very surprised at the very quick 2 day delivery time where I live. The shipping cost was a tad high though. The plastic base floor of the trailer that I got was a little scuffed and marked and I wasn't pleased about that though it's a very minor issue for me.Wish it had a big plastic tall weather protected sturdy plastic box that came with it that would fit perfectly in the cargo bay however I do see some that come close to those dimensions being sold here at Amazon. That would make a great accessory for this trailer.Either that or build your own.Overall I'm very satisfied and even rode home with it a distance of 4.5 miles even up some hills too.Got some smiles on the way too.I'm adding a trailer flag to this for added safety (an inattentive motorist could possibly hit the trailer not noticing it with its lower height profile) and I've ordered the suggested cargo net as well.Might be a good idea to also put some red blinking LED bike lights on this trailer as well.Yeah it deserves a 5 star rating.Edit I was pleasantly surprised that upon measurement of the inside of the cargo bay of this trailer that the width is more than specified under the product description.Instead of 16.5 inches stated I measured 17 inches using a ruler.I suspected this because upon putting the desktop computer that I am presently using in the cargo bay area it normally wouldn't have fit.Another Edit This trailer is putting out a chemical smell to it (probably some V.O.C.'s) so one might want to put this trailer out in the sun for a spell so that the smell dissipates.Note don't leave out in the sun with the inner tube pressurized as a blow out might occur because of heat.Either that or just leave in a garage for a week or two during warmer sunny day weatherIt's probably from the tires though the plastic floor bed may be the offender but more than likely the smell is coming from the tires.Another Edit upon trying out this trailer on my first ride no problems but upon my second ride I lost one reflector.A small loss.It was attached to the lower main frame tube and not attached as shown in the pictures.I had a spare reflector though. If you have the reflectors attached to the lower main frame tube I recommend moving them to those vertical cargo bay bars as shown in the pictures so you won't lose one.On moving some actual cargo for the first time my 3rd ride went smoothly. Also I'll add other edits here to some product link accessories (from Amazon) to this trailer that would be worthwhile (I'll wait till I receive them and evaluate their worth).Extra accessoriesEdit just got the however I got a better price on mine at $45.65.Do a search and you might find the same 24 gallon one for a cheaper or similar price. Here is another product link.It fit perfectly within the cargo bay width wise but had 3 and 1/4 inches to spare lengthwise.A great container for this trailer however it does add 10.5 pounds surprisingly so take that into consideration. You might find some cheaper and lighter Sterilite storage containers as an alternative. This one has latches and you can use locks on them too.Sterilite alternative (slightly smaller but has 4 containers)I got 2 packs of these LED Bike lights cheap but doable for this trailer well some extra spare lights too.I just put on 8 of these on the trailer.Ha Ha looks now like a police trailer with all those lights 2 on each side. They do come with fresh batteries inserted too.Your trailer will easily be seen with these if used at night. None of them had the straps in them however all of them had the bike mounts so I was very satisfied.Reflector Tape I ordered this to put around the Rubbermaid 24 Gallon Action Pack Tote for side safety (to be better noticed by other motorists.Slow Moving vehicle sign I ordered (Steel seemed too heavy so I chose the retroreflective lighter vinyl plastic sign-all it is is a giant retroreflective adhesive sticker). This adhesive slow moving vehicle sign works O.K. with the Rubbermaid 24 Gallon Action Tote. It's a big reflective sign so you will be easily seen from the rear..If you want a retroreflective slow moving sign particularly on the rear of the trailer by itself choose a metal sign or stiff plastic sign instead and use velcro, screws etc.I also obtained a Avenir 3 piece trailer flag or (Avenir Safety Flag (Orange)).Couldn't add the product link here so[...]or just do a search for it.My only problem with this was I had to use a hammer to lightly pound and bend the mount so it would be vertical from my axle.Pretty easy.I liked the 3 piece flag and I shortened the pole a little for my needs with a hacksaw.Anyway get a trailer flag please for safety. Also the cargo net combo was nice and I ordered that and of course it fits on this trailer.Note the similarity between this trailer and the which is costlier.Had I more money I would easily buy another one and perhaps later on I will. This item is really a steal for its price and a super deal.Another edit I fell into temptation and ordered another one of these trailers on Sept 24,2012.Now I will have two (one as a replacement backup or for two locations etc).I just couldn't pass this up.
