I could not find this locally. This was shipped quickly and in good condition. It fits okay but the rear connection to the muffler was the same size. 2 1/4” PD.I purchased a sleeve to finish installing it. A new rear muffler would probably work without the sleeve.A pretty good part.

It worked and fit perfectly. You have to expand the back pipe muffler. So make sure you have one that goes beyond 2/3/4. Put new brackets on. Sounds like a brand new car. It’s a 2015 model. I would recommend this to anyone who has a factory muffler system that has a welded assembly with a front (resonator) and rear muffler and tailpipe assembly. Quality was great. Definitely worth the price considering from the dealership was approximately $1500, not installed.

Easy to install. Would buy again and recommend for a 2012 equinox if you need one

The part is a quality welded assembly that is a perfect fit to match up to the oem system.Important note: The only suggestion I would give to purchasers is to measure from the FRONT of the muffler edge to the rear exhaust pipe edge on the new system and do the same measurement on the old system to find your cut length point. Reason; is that this replacement unit the muffler is 13” long and the oem old muffler is 14” long. Not a problem, if you measure from the front muffler edge. If you measure from the back edge, comparably old against new, you will have cut the adjoining joint 1” too short and will have to use and extension to make up for the 1” short joint.MEASURE FROM THE FRONT MUFFLER EDGE.
