Item worked only a couple of days and then shut down. Could not make it work at all. Put new batteries in it. Still, nothing? I do not recommend this item for anybody.And I still have not received my refund

This was exactly what I needed to replace my old RV door latch. It is very easy to install and works great. It is, however, extremely overpriced. I am just thankful that I could find it, so I can deal with the price gouge. I was disappointed that one of the electric wires that runs from the battery compartment to the front panel was slightly damaged when the unit was packed at the factory. I put some electricians tape at the spot and it appears to work fine.

I bought this as a replacement on a 2018.5 Jayco Seneca. It is plug and play, needing no modifications. The keypad seems higher quality and the led backlight is easily seen. The Bluetooth requires the app to be open but it does work fine. I was concerned that the AP brand was a knockoff of the original Bauer but they seem to be the exact same unit.

We received this lock to replace our old one on our motorhome because we liked the lock. After installing the lock we discovered that the 3/4 key did not work properly. We were unable to enter our own code on the lock. I spoke with Bauer Products for assistance with trouble shooting the problem. They replaced the lock for us under a product warranty. We were going to return it to Amazon but Bauer Products covered it under their product warranty.The other problem with the lock was due to our Jayco motorhome door frame we were unable to replace the old strike plate with the new one that came with the new lock. Apparently on this particular Jayco the door frame has to be removed to replace the strike plate. We will have that done when it is in for other service.
