Paid for new and got sent used fittings. Not the product fault but an employee at Amazon. If I wanted used fittings I expect to pay less only if they work. Will reorder and see what happens

I bought this to use an off the shelf hose for my log splitter. Works great! Handles the pressure. Snugs up fine.

I bought this adapter to repair a hose on my log splitter . I am sure the adapter would work if it would fit. but everyone should know that 1/2 jic is not the same as 1/2 npt even though the picture shows that the two halves of this coupler are the same size..So if you are a lay person and do not have a copy of standardized thread count and size comparison charts you will not know that 1/2 npt is really 3/4 jic. So forget how you usually shop on amazon and just do not look at the picture. 1/2 is really 3/4 why?
