This meter is used for horticulture and agriculture. Overall I'm ecstatic with it. I purchased the labsen 803 pure water probe for it as well, which leads me to why I'm leaving a review as I usually do not. Their customer service is far above acceptable. I had slight troubles with understanding instructions for the 803 probe, and they went over and above assisting me. I couldn't be happier with their customer support, and of course, the meter. I previously used their pen meters and, for the most part, pretty happy with them. I decided to upgrade the the PC 850, and I'm glad I did. It has earned my respect for accuracy/repeatability, which is hard to do as a professional grower. I am planning on buying a second one(Oh only) dedicated for the soil probe only. I currently use their Ph60s with the grow star probe and love it, so I can only look forward to using the PC 850 for the soil. Everything about this meter is simple to use. The buttons are a tad stiff, but manageable. Calibration is a breeze, slope is displayed, and one can be sure to get precise, repeatable results time after time. Great meter Apera. Worth the money.
