Not only is it super compact but the quality of my recording is very professional. The latency isn’t really noticeable for the most part, and when it is it’s usually just because my computer is old and I have too many vocal parts. Haha I’ve released a few songs since and (with a good producer and mixing engineer) the recordings sound awesome. It travels easily and everything can be packed in the small carrying case, and connecting is pretty straightforward. The only thing I would tell people is occasionally (at least with my older MacBook) if you record at too small a buffer size you might get occasional pops and clicks on your vocal tracks that print onto the recording. Increasing the buffer size has made them go away for me. All in all, I love this and will continue to use it to record.

Ease of use with both Mac and iPad Pros and professional sound. Guitar and bass tracking is a dream. Everything sounds more detailed. Very low noice. I personally don’t like the sleek Appleish iphone look but the pro features outshines the rest for me. I was lucky to get a open box unit in Switzerland for much less.

Arturia audiofuse'dan geçiş yaptım. Arturia kalitesi de gayet iyiydi ama son zamanlarda bağlantı problemleri yaratmaya başlamıştı. özellikle channel strip ile kullanımı mükemmel. ayarları DAW'a gitmeden yapıyorsunuz ve sanki harici bir preamp var gibi DAW'a işlenmiş sinyal gönderiyorsunuz, mükemmel çalışıyor. aldığım gitar tonlarına inanamadım. üstelik eski, ucuz bir gitar ve rode NT1 ile ilk denemeleri yaptım ve muhteşem tonlar aldım. Ayrıca ipad'e de direk bağlanabiliyor, channel strip'i orada da kullanabiliyorsunuz. tek dezavantajı, kontroller açıkken DAW'dan gelen sinyali duyamıyorsunuz, DAW açıkken controller'ı duyamıyorsunuz.bütçeniz varsa kesinlikle alın muhteşem bir interface.

Sounds amazing. When you can plug a passive guitar directly into the thing and get a great sound with zero processing, you're off to a good start in your recordings. The thing is tiny, very backpackable. Really nice unit, hope it lasts for years and years. A Lacie hard drive will fit in the case with the breakout cable too.

Very expensive interface that started crashing after only one month. In communication with Apogee now to diagnose the problem and try to negotiate a replacement. Note that this seller does not allow you to return defective merchandise. Avoid at all costs.Buy from a reputable dealer that will replace a defective unit.Edit: Apogee could not diagnose the problem over the phone and wanted me to send it in for possible repairs with the warning that if they couldn't find a problem, they would charge me $75. Also, if I wanted it back quickly I could pay an extra fee for expedited service. Also, I had to pay for sending the unit back. Also, I needed to insure it because 30% of the products they receive have damage. Also, please send them all the USB cables I was using so they could test those and hold those as ransom if they couldn't find the problem.Needless to say, my buying Apogee products are over.

Es ist ein guter Nachfolger des Duet 2, ich frage mich, ob das Update unbedingt sein muss aber alleine schon die Möglichkeit ein sehr gutes Plugin (Compressor+EQ) direkt im Interface-DSP laufen lassen zu können ist echt was Wert. Das Interface kann man gebraucht auch schon unter 400€ bekommen, für mich ist es in etwa auf dem Niveau der Element-Serie vom Sound her. einen großen Unterschied merke ich da nicht. Verglichen mit dem Symphony Desktop fällt das Duet 3 leider doch ziemlich ab, vor allem ist es wählerischer, was den Kopfhörer-Anschluß angeht. Da ist das Desktop echt das Beste, was ich bisher hatte, inklusive einige RME Interfaces, die auch schon verdammt gut sind. We ein leichtes, portables Interface sucht ist hier ordentlich bedient, oder mit dem RME Babyface Pro FS, soll es ins Rack dann ist Apogee Elements (88) echt klasse, für zu Hause oder Heimstudio ist Symphony Desktop das Interface, welches man echt nicht mehr missen will, wenn man es ein mal gehört und eingesetzt hat. Teurere Apogee Interfaces mögen da noch einen drauf setzen aber bislang habe ich keins besessen. Duet 3 ist ein sehr gutes Interface, so viel ist sicher. Besser geht immer, nur für welches Geld?

After hearing amazing things about the Duet 2, I truly wanted to fall in love with this interface and have it be my go to upgrade from my Scarlett 3rd Gen Solo.Amazing hardware and great digital controller, but then the weird white noise and disconnections started happening...I ignored it at first but it became more prominent the more I used it. Perhaps it is because I was running it on my 2019 MacBook Air Dual Core 1.6 Ghz with 8gb memory?Outside of the glitchy issues, their customer service is great too which is why giving it a 3/5 stars seemed to be appropriate, but had to send this lovely interface back and my search continues-
