I had seem some videos where folks had to drill/grind their control arms to get the new ball joints to fit properly. I did purchase new control arms (also A-Premium) for this job, and these ball joints bolted right on with no issues. In fact, they fit the original control arms as well, with no issue. Initially, these are very tight and impossible to move by hand, so if you are like me and like to rotate the threaded shaft so the cotter pin installation is easy, you might want to clamp the ball joints in a vise first, slip the castle nut on and using the socket (with a 6" extension) that fits, get the ball joint moving around and then line up the cotter pin holes so they install front to back when installed on the vehicle.
