Little thinner but heavier than the oem stock shaft. Perfect fit for my 2006 crew cab short bed lariat diesel. The cardon joint is smooth. I have to use 4x4 daily when pulling my boat out of the river (I am a fly fishing guide), I will update the review in a few months.
