It works fine and all but it didn’t fit right, the metal rod hit the frame there for I wasn’t able to line it up with the a slot of the winch. What I ended up doing was making a 1 inch spacer with some scrap tube and thankfully I had some spare 2 inch bolts that lined up with the thread of the winch. It ended up putting the lowering side of the slot at a weird angle so it rubs on the bottom of my tailgate, Amazon sed it would fit my 99 2500 Cummins with the long bed but I guess not, seems like it works good on the regular beds and the 1500 but not on mine.
