My Honda Civic 2007 LX had a problem with AC. The AC when turned on worked fine for around 10-15 minutes, then it stopped working and blew hot air out of AC vents. I checked my electrical box to try to replace the AC fuse which was notorious for premature failure of this generation. However, this act did not fix my problem. Then I found a video on youtube mentioning this issue and I knew my car’s problem. For this kit, I used only the AC clutch plate because my own was super worn out and no longer attached/separated from the AC clutch. Installation was straightforward but pretty challenging due to limited room for maneuvering. You need a wrench to hold the center bolt then remove it. The kit came with gaskets but useless because they didn’t fit. You should buy from Honda or reuse the old gaskets because when you replace the clutch plate, those gaskets will be fine again as the gap measure will be within factory specs. This kit is cheap and good value.

I bought this for my 2007 Honda Civic coupe. It fits and works great, but the shim that comes with it is no good and does not fit. You need to keep your old shims if you have to get OEM if they sell them.

Clutch wasnt engaging. Ordered this kit.Took about 4 hours no rush to install it.Second C-clip is a B***h!Pulley and clutch coil can be remove without unmounting the compressor if you pry the engine to clear the winsheild washer tank.Inner diamater of the washers they give you is too big! Had to improvise with one we had in the random washer pots.10/10 would recommand, now i'm cold!5/10 would not recomand if beginners.

Well made and fit perfectly on 2009 honda civic. Shims were to large. Had to use factory shim and it was dragging just enough to make alittle sound but not moving the compressor. For the price it's a good buy.

Must be used with the ORIGINAL compressor. Works as it should and fixed the issue. We did not have a/c because the clutch was not getting power. I couldn’t find anything local that sold this by itself. Saved me lots of $$$$. Fit well. Agree with others to watch out for the spacer…try to reuse the old one and make sure you have a snap ring tool!
