well BMW has installed from factory a CDV clutch delay valve ,some people remove the valve and use a stainless hose due to then higher pressure ( mostly performance) but on a everyday car they have design it for smooth pedal action and ease of pedal pressure.but by having a smaller i.d. fittings raises the pedal force pressure will it work ..yes but it is not built to OEM specs as the oem FTE hose,customer said her calf muscle is getting a work out..just NOT OEM like stated.oem FTE id is 0.185 this one 0.125
