I got this put it in and it literally fell apart three weeks after installing it I had to do something inside the door for a speaker n I heard pop n the window fell I got to looking n noticed the cables had come off the spacer n had absolutely no choice but put original one back in

My window would go down but wouldnt go up except for grind unless I grabbed the window and assisted it. I couldn't get the lock mechanism free so I decided to just try replacing the motor assembly instead of the entire thing and it worked fine. Maybe you can get away with just doing that. Take off your old motor and inspect the plastic gears and see how they look. Mine seemed almost new so it was definitely something inside the motor housing.

I can't complain about anything concerning this product. Matched up to the original OEM part and works fine for now. Auto window function didn't work anymore, but didn't care. Window goes up and down smoother than ever. Five stars if it last 5 years! 4 stars until then.
