Works great !! But, due to the way the door panel is shaped and all the crap in between .. It is a pain to put on by oneself, but can be done.. just takes longer if you dont have a pair of suction cups to hold the glass up until you can reach other stuff..Be safe and just get a second pair of hands.lol Goes a whole lot faster.Good luck !

This is exactly what I needed for my 2011 cx-7 .I had been holding off changing it out for a while . My husband and I were able to get it all changed out and reassembled in 40 mins. Originally I took one star off bc the automatic function on the window didn’t work… not a huge deal … but after a couple of weeks , it did . IDK what happened, but 5 star review

Long story short my 2010 CX7 window was getting stuck at a certain point and would have to help it up or down by hand. I had been doing so for a year or more. I bought the regulator and motor. Since the motor was "working" and I assumed I would need the regulator or something there in. I did not. The gear on the motor is plastic and gets stripped. I changed the motor and problem solved. I put the regulator to the side in case I need it someday. Was a very simple job I wish I would have done sooner. Hope this helps.
