My air intake hose after 25 years got a hole in the accordion part of it and you wouldn't have know it until it was removed and stretched then you could fit 3 fingers inside. I only had one issue with the fit and its because it was new and snug and I have arthritis. The one small part that hangs off the side (not were the pipe or throttle body goes into or filter area), so I had WD-40 ready and I sprayed a little on the inside of my piece I had to take off my old one and fit on the new one and wiggled it on! I didn't soak like other reviewers said you could have done. I use the WD-40 on the other 3 ends that inserted into the pipe; throttle body and filter side and they went on nice and easy. I liked that they came with the worm clams because I lost one of mine and so I was able to have all the clamps again and tighten it down. I am still working on the car so it runs with some check engine lights and I am not driving it until I get them all fixed. I used the Phillips for 2 clamps and I liked my older one near the throttle body so I moved that onto the knew one and used my socket. Great fit and good price! Especially if the car turns out to be not fixable. Had stop leak in it and gunked up the cooling system and just as i think i fixed everything; another light comes on.

When installing, you will find all the openings are hard to get on, especially the "drip leg" on bottom. Boil a pan of water and hold hose in water to soften rubber , start with the drip leg opening , install DL, then do same for each end.Put some dish detergent on It too to help It slide on. It will make your life easier.

This is a bargain as the Stealership wanted $140. As for longevity who knows... but it does seem well made. Lube the ends lightly and it goes right in. Can I write that??? LOL

I don’t know how long these will last, but for the money it’s hard to complain. A little tough to fit but overall figment is good.
