This Crankshaft sensor failed within 5 months. I will admit I hit a big pothole on a back road and it stopped working at that point. The fit was too big and I believe it slowly let go over time. When installing the unit it was very difficult to get it to stay in. Worked fine up until the pot hole. Of course these things should be designed to withstand that kind of vibration. When removing there were some melted plastic markings. And the O ring was destroyed.
