The fan did fit perfectly on my 2016 VW GLI. The electrical connectors did fit too, no mods required. It's definitely much louder and shaky than the original one, but at 1/5 of the price I'll take it, no problem. The fault codes cleared just fine, didn't return, the oil and coolant temperatures readings are perfect now. Excellent temporary solution or if you're on a budget!

It worked for my 2018 VW Jetta 1.4 TSI. Run like the original. It actually safe me a couple of hundreds. No need mechanic. This was the only seller available on my research out there. Recommend it.
